Use the Sutton Green Map
There are lots of ways that you can use this map, all because the data is gathered by OpenStreetMap volunteers and then shared under a license that explicitly allows you to use it! The only condition is that you must atttribute OpenStreetMap in some reasonable way when you use it; and you must "share alike", that is share any data you mix in with the OpenStreetMap community.
How can I use it?
Get an image to print or put into a document
It's really easy to export the map as a JPEG, PNG, SVG,
PDF or Postscript file, at any scale and to (within reason) any size. You can specify the area, the map style, the
file format and size before getting the image using the excellent export function
on the OpenStreetMap web site.
Put this map on your web site
if you are familiar with HTML, and optionally Javascript, you can
embed the map right into your own web page. Follow these instructions to
find out how.
Use the map tiles with Google Maps
If you already use Google Maps on your web site, or you're more
familiar with that API than with OpenLayers (which we use), you can trick Google into using our map tiles rather
than Google's to get all the rich detail our maps provide. Follow these instructions to
find out how.
Get really clever and make your own map
You can download the raw data and use
a wide range of tools to create your own map. Read up on how you can deploy your own map and
render the data
in interesting ways. Here are some examples to get you inspired:
